We interviewed 4 designers for a complete redesign of our kitchen and chose Tom of TRS Designs ~ best decision we made! Early in the design process, his vast experience was obvious and we knew we wanted him to design our dream kitchen. We had to have our cabinets in less than a week in order to get our financing for our foreclosure. After going to our local Lowe's and Home Depot, I was informed that there was a 4-6 week lead time. That is when I desperately got on the internet and came across Tom and TRS. I was cautious because TRS was located several hundred miles away, but after talking to Tom and sending him our plans, I was blown away by his knowledge of the products and how professional he was. If we ever have another kitchen project, I would definitely use Tom and TRS again. If you are out of his "territory", don't worry about it! Tom will make sure that everything works out to your complete satisfaction.

For eight years my wife hated our house (what a way to start..)
We wanted to update a few things with the intention to sell (so we could find a house my wife would like) and so we were fortunate that our neighbor was remodeling his kitchen and referred us to Thomas Richard and TRS-Designs who had done his design.
Frankly my wife was skeptical that anything could be done because the existing layout was difficult to work with but Thomas Richard came over, measured everything and listened to all her dreams for the space (as well as our time and budget constraints). In a matter of only one week he was ready to show us his work.
When we saw the design we were amazed at how he was able to manage the space and even include an island which we never thought could fit. Thomas Richard included every feature my wife had asked for and rendered a design which is both functional and classically elegant. This was especially important to my wife because as a fashion designer, it was of the utmost importance that the kitchen would retain its style regardless of the shifting trends.
Without a doubt - from the design to the selection of cabinet manufacturer TRS-Designs delivered. And it didn't stop there either, with Thomas Richard providing valued expert advice on our selection of flooring, appliances and granite as well as continual support throughout every stage of the installation process.
This quality of personal attention to the client is difficult to find and truly sets TRS-Designs apart. Not only is our finished kitchen beyond our dreams but now my wife is so happy that she wants to keep this home (thanks Tom - you helped to sell it to her!!).
We recommend TRS-Designs to anyone considering a new kitchen. And if along the way we do decide to move, Thomas Richard will certainly design our next one!
